I would never* procrastinate

For those who may not remember (like me), Matt and I got married in August, 2006. We are rapidly approaching our second anniversary, but lack an album of photos. Matt’s father has offered to use his spiffy photo printer to generate prints for us, but that requires that we identify the negatives for the images we want. As there are about 400 images, with all the duplicates you’d expect from a wedding, this has proven a formidable obstacle. (Also, I would then have to assemble an album. Like that’s going to happen.)

However, I was poking around on the internet the other day, and found a description of Blurb, which turns out to suit my needs well enough, and has a very appropriate name. Thus, I did without my nap today and poured my energy into generating a photo album. And lo!

I’ll post ordering details, should you be so inclined, once I’ve ordered and proofed a copy.

I love the idea of a book instead of a traditional album. I wish I had that option when I got married 8 years ago. We have created books through iphoto for special vacations instead of having the pictures hide away in our Mac for the rest of time.
